I am not paying that $16 either.. im taking my lil add with me just in case *L.. its writing bucko!lol.. anywhoo..

im just messing with ya techno.. *L i figure that ceremonial is always gonna be a lil hectic as long as it has to answer to the main committee.. but oh well. its a pw. Hoepfully itll surprise us

If someone else finds that that 16.00 pow wow admission fee is wrong.. please let me know! Right now i'm considering cancelling my hotel reservations.. and everything! I'm not about to shell out 192.00 on admission fees for the weekend! (4 people, all three days!)

Hey there Sis, you're not messing with me at all. I think the ceremonial is messing with us all! They were going through all sorts of funding issues at the beginning of the year and it looks like we are the ones that have to foot the bill to even out all the discretionary spending that they do to promote the events.

Everyone has seen or has a copy of the flyer that the committee sent out. Like KY is doing, take a copy with you and argue your way in with it. If you don't have one, send me an e-mail and I'll forward you a PDF copy that you can print. This is totally not right.

Straight from the Coordinator: There is No Admission fee to the powwow and the song&dance areas if you park in the designated areas. There is a $16.00 admission fee if you want to wander into the other areas beyond the dance arenas. The only fee you need to pay is the daily $5.00 parking fee.

The posters and flyers printed in the Gallup Independant and the Navajo Times are not correct as far as admission to the powwow is concerned.

The admission to the Az state fair is only 10.00...and you get a FREE concert too!! I'd pay 10 bucks for the Fair..plus to see Frankie J!!!

Thanks Techno for the clarification!! Someone needs to call Mr Tye at the Ceremonial office and let him know. Giving out bad info!! *sheesh* LOL!!! and i'm gonna be emailing you for a flyer too!! :)

This is correct after the upper committee decided to add Mens Grass and Womens Jingle Spotlight on Friday Night in addition to the Mens and Womens Fancy on Saturday night.

There is no spotlight contest for Mens Chicken, but there is a category in the regular contest lineup.

Hope this clears up a few items!
