This is gonna be a hot one this year...My aunts work at the seneca casino behind the cages and on blackjack tables and they said that the lackey park is un shaded and on total concrete like a block long...(they could be wrong but i doubt it,seein as they WORK there and know the area around the casino!) they said its like a parkin lot type place where they moved it. and its always hot where everything is goin to be set up...ive been there millions of times and ive never seen hardly any trees or grassy areas around the casino...so hopefully there wont be to strong winds so my canopy dont blow away sence ya cant really latch em down to anything..The stadium where it was last year was good,at least ya didnt have to dance and stay on concret all day long...Hopefully they get a big top deal thingy for tha weekend and make some shade around there...Better bring lots of sunscreen, lots of water and maybe some battery operated fans to keep cool!

I thought I had posted this sooner-must be gettin old! There is a new committee-and yeah C-there is a new point system (THANK GOSH), and no the pow wow will not be outside in the blazin sun-we have ordered a big tent. AND flooring was ordered so no one will be dancing on the blacktop. SO no need to worry...relax....take a deep breath........now start packing your bags and get down here everyone! LOL
Hey Les... jump a bus and I'll pick ya up in N.F. LOL Or jump in with Nocka-it'll be another one you won't wanna miss!
Oh, and hey C-mtg @ 2:00 in the Chairman's Club by the Buffet for all Head staff (be there). U can check in after the mtg.

Okay someone give the official word.......Is there points being taken Friday night for dancing and singing? Is there a grand entry Friday night? Someone let us know the definite word.

Yaay Les is coming!! LOL It wouldn't be a pw if you weren't gonna be there-ayyyyye.
Official word- **NO POINTS WILL BE TAKEN ON FRIDAY NITE**
Only specials-Iroquois Singing Contest ($1,000-800-600-400-200) with Social Dancing
As far as I know this is the only special....I will double check.
Jay Medicine Hat will be performing in the casino at 6:00 or 7, I believe. Vendors will be open (thier choice). Perhaps next year it will be set to start the pw on Friday-I apologize in advance for the busy schedule the pow wow is on. But a few more reminders...
* Grand Entry is at NOON on both days
* Registration is in the Casino at the BEARS DEN. It will be open friday nite from 6-8, and Sat. morn @ 10.
* There will be a dancer/singer parking lot that has it's own shuttle to transport you to registration.

Also-don't forget the 21 & over afterparty @ Legends sat nite starting @ 11. ($5 presale, $7 at the door). And the Kids party at the Fun Center adjacent to the Quality Inn ($?).

Aight cha'll a few more days-this chicks gonna be busy :)

You'll have to get here a little early....take a cruise down Niagara Falls Boulevard...there are some smaller roadside motels that should be inexpensive. Everything close to pow wow is either sold out or beyond that rate....
