So who won?

No need for the paintball gun or the shock bracelet for that matter. We packed the arena with judges....intending to "tap out". Since the dancers new there were tons of judges watching every step, they went by the "honor system" and walked off on their own. Sam Iron Cloud a grass dancer of the "Little Sun Singers", Ethete, WY was the Male winner and Carmen Clairemont a traditional dancer of Lakewood, CO was the female winner. Skyler LittleShield a grassdancer from Arapahoe, WY was the boy winner and Taylor Spoonhunter a fancy shawl dancer from Oglala, SD was the girl winner.

The songs were too tricky....needless to say, it didn't take very long! Thanks goes out to the sponsors: Moss Family, Enos Family, Washakie Family, Carusona Family, Hill Family and Trosper Family......$800 total payout.

Now this should be the way all contests go. But nonetheless thanks for the update......I will have to remember to have several judges for the trick song contest my family is sponsoring in July.
