LOL! But the only kind of animals I own are the stuffed one's I keep on my shelf. I have about 20 sheep. They are really good. They aren't affected by drought and only need to be dusted off every now and then. But they aren't much good when it is time to butcher. |

Ummm, you forgot some other pow wows in AZ that are pretty good. UNFORTUNATELY, I wouldn't call any pow wow in AZ my favorite, they're pretty much all bad, but if I had to pick one, I'd probably pick Red Mountain or Ft. McDowell. They both have good locations, good parking-red mountain has weird contest categories but they haven't changed anything in like 10 years!
Ft. McDowell is always making changes: admission, no admission, outside, in a tent, april/November, organizers from OREGON vs. local organizers, etc. ASU: too hot, crowded, expensive, boring. Only ONE food & Drink booth causing everyone to haul in food and drink, same winners every year, etc. The ones you forgot are Wa:K at San Xavier, Mul Cha Tha fair at Sacaton, Tohono O'odham Fair at Sells, Madison Park and Parker Indian Days. Believe it or not these pow wows have been going strong every year vs. other pow wows like NAU and UofA who seem to be kind of hit or miss. |
