Went out to Chinle this past weekend and heard Callin Eagle jam out.....cool, cool...but what impressed me was when the chick(?) with the cornrows did the solo for an intertribal song the cranked...........anyway, sure wish I could make it to all these powwows........oh well.............

Her name is Juncinda and she was starting up the hand-drum songs at UA Wildcat this weekend during dinner break.

I need directions on how to get to the Apple Blossom powwow because I dunno Farmington to well... I just know Main street... lol... familiar w. that street! but... can someone give me directions on where it is @....

Ask anyone where the McGee Park Memorial Coliseum is at and they'll lip-point you in the right direction. Or ask about the Sun-Ray Casino.

McGee Park is actually on your way out to Bloomfield so it is actually between Farmington and Bloomfield. You can't miss it, there is a HUGE lit up sign that says SunRay Park and Casino with a "huge" Horse Racing track along the side of the road. You just can't miss it unless you blink right before you get to the big sign, lol. Enjoy the powwow.
