GSW Powwow - Wall of Honor... What to do..
For anyone planning to bring a picture and short bio (no bigger than index card) to the Great Salt Water Powwow in Jacksonville, NC (Nov 5-7), it's suggested that you bring your picture in a frame to be hung on the Wall of Honor & Gratitude for the duration of the powwow.
Pictures not in frames will have to be posted on the Wall with tape or tacks and some people might not want their pictures of loved ones pinned or taped, so that's why bringing it in a frame is suggested. In case you don't know about the Wall of Honor & Gratitude, basically what it is is a wall that we've constructed that's going to feature pictures that are brought in of friends, family members and loved ones who are active duty military... who are veterans... or who YOU think should be honored for something extraordinary. Artwork celebrating Veterans by NC high school students will also be displayed. All pictures will be returned to their owners at the end of the powwow, provided that the name and address is included on the back of the picture or frame itself. Anymore questions, just PM me.
