I had some visitors from out of state this weekend and they brought with them a magazine called "Pow-Wow Fever" 'the magazine for Pow-wow People.
I was really impressed with the magazine. It was really colorful and had some great stories. I liked the whole layout. I gotta give a shout out to the Chief Editors Ron and Lynn Kickingwoman for such a cool magazine. They also had a link in the magazine but they have better pics in the mag itself. http://www.powwowfever.com/ www.powwowfever.com great job.

I liked the photos and the stories
They had some great photos and stories. I was supposed to send the magazine back to the peeps who accidentally left it...*sigh. I guess I will have to just get my own.

1bad: A magazine that dissiminates information to a "special interest group" that you and I belong to . . . needs to survive! I just got ahold of the editors and also found out about the funding. However, I am going to donate an article that I had already written. If anybody knows of a business, organization, tribe etc., that would like to advertise in their magazine, please tell to contact the editors @ www.powwowfever.com! Heck, gay, conservative, middle income, motorcycle riding, God fearing interest groups have their magazines. Why shouldn't we?

Yup, this is a very good magazine! Awesome articles and stories in there, i'm glad there is finally a powwow magazine in circulation, its about time!
Our tribe supports their mag, and they sent us like 300 copies or more. We were able to give em out free to all the dancers at our powwow and still had some left over. Good luck to the founders of 'Powwow Fever'! Hope to see more issues... |
