If you had to host a pow wow or gathering?

1) You could only have three northern and three southern drums, who would they be?

2)If your were hosting dancing Competition and you were to have a 2000$ special what special would you do?

3) where would it be?

Northern The Boyz
Asta' Butte
Stoney Creek

Southern Edisto River Singers
Southern Eagle
Five Clan Singers

I caught up for the special. I tied between Jingl(slide) or duck n' dive. I like jinlge of course because that is what I dance but I sure do like watching dem guy doing that duck n dive. So Duck n' Dive it is! :Thumbs

And i think i would have it in Atlanta!

$2,000 special in..um...women's team dance - winner take all....but i like hand drum competitions too

(Blackstone) cuz it's my powwow

Southern:
Sizzortail
Youngbird
Southern Cree (i know they're northern but hey..it's my dream powwow!)

SPECIAL-Adults, I'd put put all the different songs (shake song, side step, round dance, single beat and double beat crow hop, chicken dance etc...)
THEN: I'd pick one song outta the hat and make them ALL dance to it...haha...imagine a grass dancer tryin to side step or jingle tryin to ruffle!!!....

WHERE: In Hawaii...with everyone's flight and rooms paid for!!!! ...it IS my dream powwow afterall!!!!!!!!!!

1) Northern Groups: Midnite Express, The Boyz, and Tha Tribe
Southern Groups: Cozad, Sizzortail, and Southern Outlawz

2) I'd split it tha money 50/50 and make 2 specials. Chicken Dance Special and a Men's Southern Traditional Special.

3)I'd have it at any Pow-Wow that would want to have time for my special.

For singing im not too much into southern style so i will switch southern with old style groups
1.Mandaree 2.Big Bear 3.Mystic River

and contemporary groups is the other style of groups who i would put is
1.Bear Creek 2.Northern Cree 3.Grey Buffalo

i would have a spotlight special of Chicken Dancers where 1st is $1500 and 5 consolation prizes of $100

And my powwow would be somewhere in Manitoba

I like the groups you mentioned, although I would like to see a mens v womens Fancy special and 3,000.0 2,000.00 and 1,000.00

I have never been to Washington. But I have always wanted to go. I guess I will maek it out that way one day!
