21 month old girls first Pow Wow
Hello everyone, I have a 21 month year old girl who is going to dance in her first Pow Wow. We are Dakota. She loves to dance and attended her first Pow Wow at 5 days old. I held her during her early tiny tots. Now she has her regalia and is ready to go out on her own. Is it appropriate for a giveaway for her first Pow Wow? Is their any other etiquite I should follow for her first time out dancing.

I would say yes, have a give away for your girl. But you might want to consult your tribe/nation for any specific protocol, and that way you can concur on what needs to be done. Take care and keep well, let us know how it goes, I am sure there are others here that can help as well. BTW I did not have my give away till LAST Summer, and I was 26  Way to go on seeing them little ones early in the arena:D
