Checotah or Nashville?

We are going to Checotah.....some are going to Nashville. Who all is going to pow wow at these places this weekend. Battle River called my husband and they are headed this way, so.....checotah should be good. I hope so, they always had really good pow wows during Labor Day at Eufala and this is the same people running this one. Good Luck to everyone who is dancing or singing somewhere this weekend!!!

yeah those powwows are gonna be hard to choose from, i think the drum contest is gonna add to checotah, ONly thing, drums had to pre-register. Other than Nashville and Checotah, theres a contest powwow in hamilton GA, and a powwow at LSU in Baton Rouge, doubt if any okies come to that...lol

That's cool that y'alls heading down here!!! I hope y'all have a great time and 'bout the drum pre-registration thing, registration is still open till tomorrow (Sat. Oct. 16th) at 6:00 p.m., drum has to be set up by 6:30. So drums groups can still register at the powwow site!
