Just wondering who has the info on this powwow in November? Drum contest? Dance? Host Drums? Head judges? and so on and so on?

host drums are Wisconsin Dells and YoungBird, head judges are Adrian Klein and Debbie Plain, That's all I know....

The Indian Center puts this powwow on and this is what I got off the website.....

The American Indian Center’s 51st Annual Powwow will be held Nov. 12, 13 & 14th at the UIC Pavilion, 1150 West Harrison in Chicago. Adults $10.00, Children (5-12) and Seniors $5.00, Children under 5 free. Weekend Pass $18.00. For more information contact the American Indian Center at 773-275-5871

Hello All,
Well, maybe I can put some light on this subject. There is no drum contest but there is a hand drum contest. This is a memorial for Bobo Smith. This contest is being organized by Wisconsin Dells. There is a men's traditional special being put on by tha Head Men judge. There is also a Jr girls Fancy special. There is also a Women Jingle special.THa prize money is over $18,000. If you want anymore info just let me know. HOKA!!!

There are no drums that are invited. It is an open drum. I think tha pow wow committee only has enuff money for 10 drums. So if you drums want to come SHOW UP EARLY!!! This is always a good pow wow to come to. I think it would be a great pow wow if more people show up and keep coming back and spreading tha word of tha Chicago pow wow then eventually it will be a great pow wow again. HOKA!!!!!!!
