WHAT: National Museum of the American Indian Columbus Day Reflection Dance.

WHERE: NMAI, 4th Street and Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, DC

WHEN: Monday, October 11, 2004, 12 Noon-4:30 pm

HOST DRUM: Cedartree

ALL DANCERS WELCOME. First 20 dancers get free meal vouchers.

You KNOW you're not working on Monday. If you're in the DC area, come out to this dance.

But we dont get Monday off.

I dont get to celebrate the brutal rape and torture of my people that established a pattern of genocide thats held for 5 centuries. Which still continues and 800 of my indigenous leaders were murdered in the last 10 years. Sorry man, i just went off.

geesh.....just saw this thread and had the day off today if I would have known I would have gone.....hopefully it will be an annual event I would go for sure next year.
