texas powwows??
does anyone have any information on any powwows goin on on the third week of october because we are headed to texas that weekend and wanna check out a powwow up that way.....so any info would be great thanks!!

Nothing that I can think of that particular weekend down this way. Several in November perhaps but October nothing big. But if I know any...sure will let ya know

We go to McAllen TX for their dance, a very nice family and committee. This year the dance dates are Oct. 23/24. I recommend this dance if you will be in this area. Look south of Lorado, and north of Brownsville.
Good luck and be careful traveling. IF you need more info just talk to Lipanlady. She and her family are for the most part the committee.

thank you for the info..........so how are the powwows out that way??? some good singin?? lol..........but yeah im looking forward to the trip........were gonna be in the san antonio area, were flying up that way and i think were gonna be driving back..........anyways, :P

The singing is mostly OK style of singing. Most of the singers are either from around OK or sing/ have sung in OK.
You should contact Lipanlady about the Staff this year and any other details. Hope to see you there.

There be some texas boys jammin! Dat PW down there ummm itss way south..make sure ya take ur green card ayee jokes haha. SA has some pow-wows but not sure when though. Of all places san antone eh? Sharon make sure ya go down the riverwalk..nice place to visit and remember the alamo haha see ya gurl and have fun
