Hey yo, anyone, what's up in Newtown this weekend? Who took the specials so far? How's the weather? Drums?

The weather was good, no rain storms! It was a pretty good weekend, except Saturday evening the power went out at the powwow grounds. They were just getting some temporary lights put up and the electricity came back on! Sorry don't know any winners, we left before it was over.

At least of the specials> Men's Grass and Womens Ol Style Fancy Buckskin Darn...should have at least went for 1 day |

Harriet Good Iron won first in the Old style Buckskin, an Old Horn lady got first in the fancy buckskin, Jarvis Bearstail won one of the Grass dance specials and Wambli Charging Eagle won the other one, Hawk Thunder Hawk won the Men's Traditional special Sunday night. That's all I can remember.

Looks like alot of the good dancers were split between Ft. Belknap and Usk; although unless Paris Leighton cloned himself he couldn't be in two places at once, and according to the threads on here he not only danced at Belknap, he danced at Usk! Go figure that one!
