Alright ya'll Im a bit new to this whole powwows.com thing and Imma ask 2 questions that prolly been asked a hundred times over but here it goes...

Whats your favorite category on the trail and what dancers do you watch for?

Myself I would have to say is I like Mens Traditional and Womens Jingle. I just started going back to powwows after being away for sometime so I'm not quite familiar with all the dancers yet but I hope to be soon!

Well, I mostly travel around the Great Lakes Area in Ontario. So my favourite categories are Mens Traditional and Womens Fancy.
I like the way Alden Pompana dances (and his wifey Sarah) and my Uncle Maheengun Shawanda and all of his family.
As for Womens Fancy, I'd say Mariette Sutherland and ma gurl Tracy Recollet top my list.

for me its Grass and teen fancy shawl, i like to see the new up and coming dancers and possibly who i might have to compete with in the future cause i'm womens fancy, laughs.

My favorite is chicken dance and i don't know all their names out there..but There was a guy at IICOT one year that was awesome named chad killscrow.

I like watching men's traditional, and the tiny tots categories. I don't neccesarily have anyone particular in mind. I just really love watching these categories; the men's traditional being very serious and full of dignity, and the little ones just learning their way and full of innocence

I love watching Mens Traditional, Mens Grass, Mens chicken, & I like watching Women's fancy (when I'm not in there) & womens jingle.

I like to watch the Men's Crow Style of dance. Especially when they all line up and start dancing back and forth as they're going around the arena. I forgot what they call it. Dale Old Horn mentioned what it was when they were doing that at Prairie Island, after that Crow fancy dancer's eagle bustle fell off. Man, was I shocked when that happened.

I have my favorites in ALL the categories....but I have a soft spot for the jinglers..they kick azz...but I lubbs to watch the ladies tradish when they jam out stationary...

Man, I'd love to see that too. We had a prairie chicken dance showcase here in Wiky last year and it was AWESOME!
