Everytime I've been to this dance I've had a great time. Last time there were probably over 400 dancers and I remember there being about 20+ drums. They feed dinner daily, and they balance contests, specials and intertribals well. Oh, don't forget (if they still do this)...get there on Friday night for 50 bonus points for grand entry!

Are you talking about Little Eagle SD???? We haven't been there for a few years but I never knew a time when there were 400 or more dancers.................it's just a little community on the Standing Rock Rez. They usually do have some pretty good specials though.

I haven't been there in 7 years so I might be remembering it wrong, but I do remember the arena being packed. I'm the worst in the world for estimating numbers of dancers, but there were quite a few. :)
The drum number is right though because I usually count them whereever I go...stupid I know, but I'm always curious LOL

My drum was an invited drum there, last year. I didn't get to go but they said they were treated really good and would definitely go back if they didn't live so far away.
