Who's going and who's on the bill? I looked for the Julyamsh site :37: and tried to see host drums and head staff but didn't see NUFFIN! :dontknow: Any news all?

Arena Director is Leonard Tomaskin Host Drum is Black Lodge Head Man is Spike Draper (I think) Head Woman is Tisa Pinkham For the first time ever, they are having Jr's categories, used to be they paid juniors and tiny tots. more importantly.....do they even get in on the final payouts and actually place up there?

They don't have a southern straight contest.
The only southern straight dancer of note that I remember at Julyamsh was the young fella that drums with Youngbird. I think he took teens one year.

I will be there....
I have seen a grip of southern dancers (mostly women's southern and teen boys southern) - I only seen like two or three men's southern there... but they won when they did come. Personally, I would like to see more southern natives head up to this powwow. Great way for all of us northern natives to meet ya'll :D:D:D:D |

Dang, I think I'mma hit this one up next weekend then.
Plus....I've never been up that far North...so, it'd be nice to see a change in country and people. See how you Northerns do it up!! aye! ....if I place, I place....if not....I ain't gonna sweat it....I got to see some GORGEOUS country!!!

...should be a nice 20+ hour drive to get there, but, I've got a great friend in Missoula I wanna visit with, and I'm sure I'll have some fun droppin some coin at the casino.
