Can't wait..
My family and I are really excited about attending this year's event. We have not been to the powwow her in several years and are really looking forward to it. It will be my son's 2nd birthday and my mom's birthday on that Saturday; what a way to celebrate - eh?

well anyways... still i don't think it makes any sense to separate northern & southern traditional and then combine them with yet another category... jingle... this is what happened at the howard county pw the other year... there were jingle separated between the fancy and traditional categories... and yet a jingle dancer placed in the tradish and the other in the fancy... as if judging northern & southern isn't hard enough... another category is thrown in? this doesn't make sense.

No we are staying close to home. Daddy's in the hospital again, not sure when he'll get out. That and Billy has to work. Most of our traveling this year will be close to home.
You guys have fun though, and enjoy the pow wow. Tell the family I said hello. |

Ms Lum is right there are 4 categories - Women's Southern Traditional, Women's Southern Traditional, Women's Fancy, Women's Jingle.
As for Howard County I am going to have to go back and look at the winners for that. The only year we had jingle was last year and I have that stuff at home - will try to look at it this weekend.

I will do. Hope Mr. Clarence is alright! We don't know if Destiny is gonna get to go with us yet or not. She just got out of the hospital again yesterday. She is really having a hard time lately, but it's all in good hands. I'll say to you like I tell myself everyday - "You gotta keep the faith". Tell that brother of mine that I lubs him - and we'll see you soon. Kiss the babies for me, okay? Becky A. - can't wait to see ya! (My fella will be with us too - I'll get to see if he meets your aproval! hehehe) |
