This was a good pow wow, except it rained on Sunday. LOL
Wendell is just up from teens, I think this is his second year in adults. He sings with Prairie Island, Pipestone, and I forgot who he sang with this past weekend. He is a good dancer and singer. I am not sure of all the winners, it was crowded in that events center and they called the winners really fast. Southern: cloth 1st Ponka We victors 2nd Bridget Whipple 3rd Sandy Tate Nevaquaya(me!!!!) 4th Mable Cozad 5th Sunny Rose Yellowmule Buckskin 1st Tonya Moore 2nd Danielle Downwind 3rd Delaine Ally-Snowball 4th Chaylene Toehay 5th Charlene Cozad I am not sure on Straight except Terry Tsotigh got first and Juaquin got second. Spike won the southern fancy and Michael Roberts got second. The jr. adults grass was a good contest to watch as was the jr. adults men's traditional. jr. adults Jingle went to Chepa Two Eagles, I am not sure about second and third but BJ got fourth and Casey Hinsley got 5th. It was a good pow wow and alot of good dancing and singing. |
