Sounds like a good powwow, I'll be getting back from Post Falls (Julyamsh) the weekend before. Maybe I'll see ya'll there.

Are the host hotels in Santa Fe or Bernalilio?

Dang, they brought this powwow back huh!!

First time the Adakai's ran it.....things 'LOOKED' okay, but, perhaps it was the atypical Pueblo mentality that saw to it's quick put down.

....what with the race track and casino, probably, doing fairly well in recent years....it's nice to see it's back!!

Last time it was hot, kinda dusty, no one won anything in the casino......but, I had a pretty good time.

I think Bernalilio is closer, but I'm not sure how many hotels are close. There is a new one going up on the exit to Santa Ana. (can't remember the street)

I wish I could go up there. It would be kind of interesting to see what it's like to pow-wow with the San Felipe's. I know several peeps from there. It would be kind of cool to see them again, but it's been a while.

Unhappy watch out!

Well I hope this one is better than the other one they had!
I was part of the host drum that year and they treated us like crap no water,no dinner, and worst of all no pay!!! I think they used all the money for the dancers and such but hell it was three days long and they had all day gourd sets and that can make for a LONG day! Pueblo mentality is right on the money!!
I thought hobbs were bad, these people put them to shame!
All i can say is watch out! remember the Spirit Albq IOU powwow!

side note: That Spirit org. finally is showing it's head again and putting up powwows out here.

Ya just killed it for me with that "spirit org"....never again.

I'm really reluctant to attend anything in that area at this time, other than GON.

Although Ignacio has been a good pow-wow.
