Still looking for Hotel rooms for Schemitzun this year and don't want to pay over 100?

Schemitzun rooms available at the Comfort Suites, Norwich, CT. Please do not confuse this hotel with Comfort Inn as this is an all suite hotel, Comfort Suites.

It is located only 9 miles from Foxwood Casino and has a free shuttle transportation available from 4pm-12am. Duluxe Continental breakfast, pool, jacuzzi, fitness center, and more anemities. I have powwow clients who use this every year and it comes very highly recommended.

Well I did my homework as a good travel agent should do and personally called each of these hotels. I checked on all the rates and availablity for these hotels listed. I did not bother with the hotels in Groten as its nearly a 30-40 min drive from Foxwood Casino. Its your judgement call as most of all know I have my rates at the Comfort Suites for 99 a nite plus tax on a blocked space. So email me your requests as these rooms are starting to go.

Two Trees Inn, Great Cedar, Grand Pequot Tower: 1-800-FOXWOOD: ALL SOLD OUT!!! Grand Pequot has avail at 195 for Thurs nite and then Fri/Sat goes up to 265 a nite. YIKES!!!

Fox Trail Lodge: 860-535-2721: 1 bed small room at 99 for Thurs nite and fri/sat goes up to 159 a nite/Large room is for Thurs nite and Fri/Sat goes up to 189 a nite.........pricey

Hilltop Inn: wrong phone number

Cedar Park Inn: 860-535-7829: deluxe room 99 for Thurs and Fri/Sat is 275 a nite. Luxury room is 129 for Thurs and Fri/Sat is 375 a nite........OUCH!!!!

I just wanted to post a few comments as well.

A large majority of the powwow peeps stay in Groton.
It is really only about 15 minutes away. I stay there every year and is most convenient for our crew.
On mapquest, it said 16 miles....and is really the nearest fully equipt town.
Wal-mart, TJMax, Fastfood, restaurants, Banks, etc...


Super 8 is great and the most typical hotel in Groton that us powwow peeps stay.

The Towers @ Foxwoods offer a rate of $125 for the powwow.
It is however sold-out, but check back frequently. Rooms do come available.

It definitely is not too far away. Much more economical. 1-800-800-8000

Go for it? Cheaper room? Try the Flagship. It's not Crowne Plaza........but it has a bed.
and......it doesn't stink.
