Window Rock Powwow June 5-6??

Does anyone know if this powwow is still a go? Seen it in the powwow calendar but haven't heard anything about it. I called the contact number but no one returned my call. Any help would be appreciated.

nope, I tried to email them also but I got nondelivery notification.....maybe not...hmmmm....towaoc, co is going on that weekend also....

Here's something else that's disturbing I heard....

.....I spoke to a member of Bad Moon Rising. Seems the only powwow they're slated to host in the Window Rock, Arizona area is until the Navajo Nation Fair in September!!

They don't know a damn thing about any powwow in June!!

Anyone else confirm this with the Host Northern drum? Big Bear.

bad moon was contacted about this powwow back in april, but were still waiting on the contracts, they dont send by this weekend were not going, thats all were waiting on.

All my pws.com points on the line here..........I say ya'll don't hear anything from them, cause they ain't got the money to pull it off....or they ain't got the sponsorship.

Yep, my boys and I are headed up there (towoac)....by the way, do any of you know of a campground nearby there???? And if there is would anyone let us use there shower?? LOL seriously joking .........thanks......

Finally got a hold of the people from Window Rock. As of today the powwow is a go. According to them their host drums are coming and there is dance, no. and so. singing contests. Hopefully it will turn out.

Oh yeah, no worries about rooms being trashed or having into run into anyone from the powwow...LMAO....yeah camping is cool because you don't have to worry about being locked out of your room or someone crashing there that hasn't put in and takes over your bed.......LOL.....or no worries about the TV being too loud.......also, not having to worry about finding the "9" because you're already at it....LOL.........but most of all.......saving money.......I got other powwows to go to...LOL
