Ok. So i went to White Earth. Havent been there in a few years. It seemed to be better than I remembered it. Not much for tradish pow-wows but I enjoyed myself.
I thought there were some good drums there. Also thought there were some not so good ones. Just wondering if anyone else went and what they thought of it. |

I thought it really sucked even though it was my first time there. My family is never goin back there again. They only got 3 songs Saturday none sunday so we packed up and left. I thougth that some people who should have won the specials didnt. And the dancers looked real gitimagis if you know what that means. What a waste going there I thought!

White Earth
I don't know what it is. Different. Looked a bit hobbyist to me. Whatever. We were set up as Rose Creek. Hope you liked our sound. We enjoyed ourselves.
My moms came with. She was a little surprised at some of the outfits. Not what you would usually see back home. |

we did not get to the white earth, and it was my daughters birthday on hinkley, plus there was a graduation thingy for my cuz and some others from fond du lac, so hinkley was the last on our minds. plus i really do not like the hink powwow, for soooo many reasons, i like our annual up on district one in mille lacs better, that one i never miss. you all have to make it to the mille lacs powwow.

I live all the way down here in AZ, so it's a long way to go back home to the powwow.
There are a few nuts (hobbyists) I've seen up there, but I still like the powwow because it's home for me.
