wolf and wolfdog owners

Please be careful when taking your wolf or hybrid to a powwow. Be sure to check their local laws. I heard some wolf pups were seized at the Mother's Day powwow in Georgia last weekend and put to sleep because someone overheard them advertised as wolfdogs. And, GA is an illegal state to have a wolf or hybrid.

Can anyone find out if this really happened?
