Listen! Can you hear it coming? Sounds of Thunder!
Brand new pow wow this year. Sounds of Thunder in Weatherford, TX. Weekend of Oct 18. Come on all you TX/OK people (& beyond), let's get behind this one. I sure would like to see a good pow wow get started here in this area! Talk it up. Pass it on.

The website is SoundsOfThunder.US POWWOW. It is also listed here on the powwows.com calender. Fri-Sun Oct 17-19. It should be noted (as the website details) the location has been moved closer to Fort Worth. It is now at the Trinity Meadows horse racing track in Willow Park. (Good place!)
And yes.......I am a tease! (you know you love it)

We'll be there.........all 3 days............we only live about 10 miles west of the pow wow, so it will be nice not to have to travel long distance to go to a pow wow.
Yes, please support this pow wow if you can come. They've had a rough time getting a secured location for the pow wow. See ya there! |

I have contacted them to see what happened. If anyone knows for sure, post it. The fact that the word discriminatory is used makes me feel a letter to the editor (Fort Worth Star-Telegram) comin' on.
