University of Wyoming presents the 27th biannual, Keepers of the Fire Pow-wow in Laramie, WY April 2 & 3 in the Multi-purpose gym. Grand Entry times: 12 noon & 7 p.m. Sat, 12 noon on Sun. M.C. - Dale Old Horn, Crow Agency , MT Arena Director - Chico HerMany Horses Head Man Dancer - George Abeyta, Fort Washakie, WY Head Lady Dancer - Tanksi Clairmont, Denver, CO Host Drum - Blackwhistle, Lodgegrass, MT Honor Drums - Wind River Singers, Fort Washakie, WY Ethete Eagle Drum, Ethete, WY Specials: Tiny Tot dance contest sponsored by the Old Coyote & SunRhodes Families honoring Heaven Rose Old Coyote. Girl's Fancy Shawl sponsored by the White and Washakie Families in honor of the Keepers of the Fire Princess 2003-2005, Kristen White. Trick Song Dance Contest for all Adult categories Winner take all in each category sponsored by the Abeyta, Enos,Trosper, Hill, Washakie, Moss families in honor of Head Man Dancer, George Abeyta.
