Festival of Native Arts, Fairbanks Alaska

This event will take place on March 3, 4, & 5th 2005, at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. This is a very nice event to go to; especially since it is free admission, and the vendors are wonderful. Anyone traveling to Alaska in two weeks will not want to miss this one. ps: the Festivals annual powwow will take place on campus this year; with potluck at noon, and grand-entry taking place at 2pm.

Since I grew up in Fairbanks I always looked forward to Festival of native Arts every year. I totally miss it! However I plan on going home in July for W.E.I.O. That is for sure. my kids will be able to see the environment I grew up in since they were so little the last time we went home, maybe this time they will. I cannot wait. Much love to all my friends and family back home.

Fairbanks, AK! i sure do miss mah second home. Originally from Anaktuvuk Pass. Anyone going I hope ya'll see my grandfathers group dance! they do inupiaq dancing with a good rythm! this is the second year ima miss it! sure does bite cause all my friends an family all go to that ya kno! but im proud to say im down here in texas, my husband is serving his country well. i hope to be home this summer for the Inter. Mid. Pow Wow an WEIO but we'll see! I hope ya'll have a good time be'n native!
