Would like some info on Pow-Wows

Hello
I am looking for information on local pow-wows and information on becoming a vendor. I am in Manchester,PA which is south central PA. I know that we have a few pow wows around here like Kipona. Also I would like to know. Do you need to be native american to get into the pow wows as a vendor. I dont not tell people that I am even though everyone swears that I look like I am Native. I dont try to pass my work off as being authentic. I simply do Native american stlye beading. I mean I dont use plastic beads. I only use bone, horn, glass or clay beads for my work.

Hi..I have been to some pow wows in PA.
I've heard of Manchester but am not clear of it.
Some pow wows that I have been to in PA are Benton, and Lehighton on the Bison Ranch.And this other one in Aug. But I don't recall the name of it. There is a Cherokee festival in Ambler PA.. It is once every May or April I think. I've heard of one in Allentown,I don't know when that one is.
One in Tunkhannock I been to..
One this coming April in Trout Run Park.
Just look it up if you need dates.

I don't think you gotta be native to be a vendor.Sometimes they card you,but I don't think it's necessary..I've seen a couple non natives being vendors.(Or what I thought was non native..one could never tell,nor judge)

Many of these PA powwows wouldn't have any vendors if they had native requirements. Dancers & singers too, for that matter.

Are you insinuating that mainly white dancers and singers,and vendors attend PA pow wows? Hmm..
I see that you're judging someone by their skin color..
That just because their skin is light and/or white they're ONLY white european and have absolutely none indian blood,in them.
Well that is just as racist as a white man or lady spewing prejudices at those skin colors that ain't the same shade as theirs.

If you're so close minded and ignorant,I suggest you watch the movie The Human Stain.It may change your mind on generalizations.
