Let's Powwow in Texas
I know this great dance in Texas if anyone is in the area of McAllen TX the weekend of Oct. 22/23, 2004. My family have been going down there for several years now. We travel from central MO. We really appreciate the hospitallity of the Soto family and the other committeepeople.
I hope to see many of you all in McAllen TX that weekend.

hey what it do? im new in tx from ak and i wanna kno where is McAllen?? Im look'n for some pow wows and gurl seems like im the only native here in TX! aint no one native seems like...how sad...*tear*Sniffel*....but get at me and hook a ndn up allready! aight!

theres alot of Natives in state of Texas...MCAllen is SouthTexas region. San Antonio does have some pow-wows..Austin Texas has a big pow-wow comin up next weekend....LIvingston Texas has a pow-wow comin up Nov 27 and thats 90miles NE of Houston Texas also in Houston...in 3 weeks has a pow-wow at Traders Village...then Livingston has a pow-wow in February 17-19....Yes Alot of Natives....3 reservations in state of texas...Kickapoos in South Texas...Eagle Pass Texas...Tiguas in El Paso...Alabama-Coushatta in Livingston but alot of Natives live in the Metro Areas of San Antonio--Dallas..Austin---and Houston..So your not alone here

Yah I know the Sotos...Ive worked with them at some pow-wows out this way. Good People! Have a goot trip down in South texas
