R.T.B began as a youth drum group a couple years ago brought together by Jimmy Newton on the Southern Ute Reservation. R.T.B is short for the name "Rolling Thunder Boyz", influenced by a buffalo that lived on the rez. Members of the group came and went as with any drum group but the dedicated and devoted are right before you now. All singers are Southern Ute, Northern Ute, Ute Mountain Ute, Pawnee, Cheyenne, Navajo, as well as Pueblo. R.T.B was mentored by 12 Gauge, so in turn the group has an influential sound mixed in along with many other influences that make the R.T.B style.
