Man what freakin tribe are yous guys? Cherokee or what? These songs are getting out of control. There is NOTHING sacred or CEREMONIAL about their songs...they're just wack. Sounds like the make stuff up and pretend its tradition. I wouldn't have even let them in the contest. And I'm sure they can't hang with the other Red Earth Host drums.

you guy need to re-think your startegy cuz this is gettin to out of hand. if you play thses wild song at red earth, your drum will more that likely end up on I-40 waiting for the next semi truck to come by to take it back to texas.

As a Lipan Apache, we are very traditional, the Huisache Creek group has made it this far, we are no longer in the woodworks, we are real and we are many, just like your area, we are of a proud people, and proud that the generational insperation of the drums and singer have the spirit, remember, each tribe has their traditions, depending of the region, we are of the South Texas, as we are very blessed that father God has given us guidence to see this Group come so far ahead, only says that the tradition has been very strong among our people and we are finally a great Lipan Apache with many trades, languages and very sacred traditions.

Buh...Ya right. Sounds a little fishy to me. Think you kind of gettin tha big head there fellerz....which you have no reason to. That reply just made your crew look even worse. I think the honorable thing would be to disqualify yourselves.

I'm not sure what your problem is.

As a Lipan, I find your remarks to be out of line. This drum has their own sound which may be different from what you are used to, but that doesn't make their entry into this contest any less valid than any other drum entered here. If you don't like it, fine. Many others, myself included, have been rooting for the home team. Nothing wrong with that...
