Preyin' Eagle have been singing together for a number of years. The Drum Group composes and sings their own songs. Preyin' Eagle loves to sing and make the dancers dance. They sing for the dancers, elders and all of the people who are there. The group asks for blessings from the drum so that when the dancers dance or when the people listen to the music, they will be cured of any ailments and also to make the people feel good and energizied.
Preyin Eagle singers are mostly O'Odham from Salt River, Gila River, Tohono O'Odham and from other tribes such as: Hopi, Chippewa, Navajo, Northern Cheyenne, Semole.
