White gal question

I'm going to my first pow wow this year and I have a question that I'd like some opinions on. My husband is Choctaw and been to pow wow's before. He wears regalia, dances, etc....

Now I'm white, not a drop of native blood in me (unless my brother the genieologist is dating a native, then miraculously we are LOL). Is it offensive for me to wear any part of regalia if I feel that I need to wear something?

I certainly don't have the heart of a true white person, but I also don't want to disrespect anyone. My husband tells me to do what I feel, but I just want to check with non-relatives on the issue. And I'm talking about wearing a cloth dress - not jingle or buckskin or any kind of fancy dress. Just something simple.

Are u saying that u feel that u need to wear regaila...cuz im full native and i dont dance so i go in regular ol clothes....snaggin clothes

It would be best if you just dressed like you were going to a white church in which case you'd be given the utmost respect that can be given without looking like a cross between a fur trapper and the Predator.

Yeah Submit Me To That Show I Wanna A Whoel New Set Of Clothes And A Chance To Go To Where Ever They Shoot That Show. I Go With My Basic Colors Black, White, And Gray.
