dancing makes me happy.
i hadnt danced all fall and most of the winter, then i went to a party that a friend of my was having, and typical eastcoast style she brought out a powwow tape and we all danced to it before any other music was brought out. it was great, and i realized how much i had needed to dance.
anybody else ever feel like that, or have an interesting story? i know you all do so lets hear it. |

Oh yeah - I know what you mean. I was tossed from a horse last year - 8 broken ribs. Couldn't even tie my shoe...let alone dance.
Just pulled out my skin, put on a cd and man - felt great. I'll be out there this year. Kinda like sex when you get old - you forget how great it is until you do it again. (So I've been told ;) |

I scrapped heaps of dead twigs and stuff from my back woods several weekends ago, put it in a big pile to burn, no problem. Then I got the Idea. Waited till dark, lit it , brought out my small cd player, and danced around the fire. The neighbors are horses, so no one called the cops on me! :mrcool:

I'd been out of the pw circuit for over 10 years then I went to a pw just to spectate ... once I heard the music and felt the energy, I knew I wanted to dance again. So now I'm back :D lovin every minute of it!! :Thumbs best feeling in the world!!!
