how come grandentrys r always at either 1:00 or 12:00 how come never in the morning like at 8:00 or 9:00 and y do they alwayz end so late

But, back to the topic: In Crow Creek South Dakota, church services are held on the arbor before the grand entry on Sunday. It must be tradition because this year will be the 141st annual powwow in Crow Creek South Dakota.

Its an unwritten law...grand entrys shall be announced to start at 1 pm...with the "indian time" clause. LOL:Chatter :Chatter

Can you really imagine grandentry at 8am or 9am. Especially with them powwow's that have only 2 elevators in the hotel. :Chatter people would have just enough time to get back when the powwow is over, shower, and then stand in line to head back down to powwow again.:Chatter
