last DITCH efforts for all us
Protecing our sacred sites is something all us tribes all over ndn country are living with every day. THese sites are becoming less of a concern for some and money is the devil in most cases. We have to defend what these holy places and let these ba$terd mining companies know our religious sites are not for sale! What has your tribal councils done to defend your peeps sites?

Petitioning and meeting with government officials. One of our tribal cemetaries is in the path of a dam in the planning process as we speak. Not only that, there are several ski resorts (potential) in California on or near these sacred sites.....:(.....

but i dont think that many outsiders(non-natives) understand that this land means something to us..not money or houses or buildings but things that cannot be replaced.....things that cannot be knocked down and expected to be the way it was before...
