Dinner break

What do you all do during dinner break?

I like to stay and watch the dinner break dancers that usually take to the stage. If I am at a long pow wow weekend pow wow I might go back to my hotel room and relax for the second part. But I really like stayin so I'll stay if therre is some type of dinner special. I like the give aways and watchin all the people get their gifts and see them all surprised and honor the dancer.

Sometimes we'll go out to a restaurant! Other times just kick it around the grounds and go goof off and bug everyone.

Or I'll just sit at the chair and take a snoozer.:Sleeping With my mouth wide open like this occasionally belting out a snore and then looking around make sure no one heard :29:

If were real bored we just go home!

I usually hang around the camp and take a nap...OR, if I am cashy, go to the nearest stand and get the biggest indian taco they have and a large lemonade...:Cry wish I was at a powwow right now...I'm getting powwow withdrawls :Cry LOL

kinda just sit around with one of my grandpas and usually end up getting served as an elder thanks to my sisters:p

I like eating supper with friends...socializing...and getting caught up with their lives away from the Circle...you know how it is....we are just one big family......LOL

Him and I usually go eat somewhere, then come back and relax for a few, shoot the ish with some friends, then he helps me get ready.

Go back to the motel, or if I haven't already, check out the vendors, and/or grab something to eat. I take long naps, so dinner break naps are too short for me.

Me i usually sit in the chair and listen to music. Then since i'm a student i also do my homework that i might need to catch up on.
And i also do beadwork during the dinner break. And i also walk around and see what kind of things the vendors are selling. That's basically what i do. But it keeps me busy:)

or a free pop from my friends. But if i can't then i'll pay for it but I don't like it. I'll go get fast food somethwere and have to rush to get dressed again before ge and then be all rushed,.

When I lived back East, I liked the dinner breaks cuz then I could watch the Haudenosaunee people dance or listen to Joanne Shanendoah sing. I always enjoyed that as I am from the West. :)

I either go back to the car n' study or help cook/serve for the dinner

durin' the summer when i don't have school & travel (so I don't know anybody in the kitchen), I'll just sit around and people watch

it depends on long dinner break is. if i have the time, i may go back to the hotel for a quick shower and maybe a nap. if its short, snag something to eat and do a little shopping.
