In the next episode of PowWowCast we are interviewing Dennis W. Zotigh the Cultural Events Coordinator, Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian.

We'll talk about the goals and programs of the NMAI as well as their upcoming Pow Wow.

What's been the biggest challenge for you so far, both professionally and personally? Is there a difference in putting on the national powwow as opposed to any other powwow?

Do you feel there is a difference in working for NMAI verses your previous jobs, like abilities to direct the views of the public about NDN's?

What kind of projects might be on the horizon for you and the museum?

Do you feel like your tribal views/traditions will come into play in your position with the museum?

Will there be gourd dancing at this years national powwow?

Do you think it would be better or the NMAI's powwow to be a contest dance or should it be none contest and more educational?

Will the NMAI powwow be open to anyone that wants to participate?

Do you feel the museum, and to a lesser degree yourself through your position there, will be able to effect the publics knowledge of natives and native culture?
