A couple of questions:
As we lose a loved one(s), we continue to grieve that loss forever, but we do come out of mourning and start to move forward with ourlives the best way we can. You are a role model to everyone and definitely an inspiration to all. What would you tell someone who just experienced something simliar to what you been through? What would you tell the youth of today about the importance of spirituality and how it has helped you through difficult times? What was meeting the Dahli Lama(SP?) like. Congratulations on rejoining the circle once again. When do you think you will start competing? Soon we hope. What do you see yourself doing ten- twenty years from now if you could make it happen? Dang, sounds like an interrogation innet! Well, in closing - I wish you and your family all the best! |

Questions for Willow
First of all, I want to again offer my best wishes to Willow and the rest of her family. Willow has become a symbol of inspiration and pride for many Native people, and I know that there are many hearts that have cried with you, pray for you, and will rejoice with you always. Your grace and dignity and the way you expess your love for your husband and daughter has taught me to be a better wife and mother. We love you, Willow, here in Lakota country and all around.
First question: I recently lost a very beloved cousin, and I know that I had to rely on my own humor (of all things), in remembering his goofy ways. That humor has helped me to deal with my own feelings of loss. Many times the laughter turned to tears, and then the tears turned to laughter. It has helped me. What is the element in your life that has helped you to grieve and heal? Second Question: You come from a very strong family, especially the women, and your husband comes from a good family as well. Who, if there is any one person, has helped you through this time the most? Third Question: All of life is learning. We learn our most important lessons through pain and adversity. What has been the most important lesson you have learned, and what is the most profound thing you have been told that has helped? You are an incredible woman, you are human, and you are gifted. Your son is lucky to have a source of strength and love in you, and you both are lucky to be surrounded by the spirits of your husband and daughter. I pray for you as I pray for my own family members, and I can't wait to see you dance again! Love and prayers Karin Eagle Baca Oglala Lakota |

Since there is more time, I will post again.
Alot of us know people from being on the powwow trail and never really come in contact with them outside of that - which could be a blessing in disguise ayee! Could you tell us about Willow off the powwow trail. Who is she? What would you like to accomplish in this lifetime? Imma reporter for the Indian Enquirer LOL. |

Hi Willow..
~jingle pejuta~ ( AmberDawn) wants me to tell you "hi" and we both hope we can see you on the powwow trail again soon and she hopes to be dancing with you again. Our question is........ You have shared so many of your photos with not only us but with everyone........ we would like for you to talk about just what all these photos mean to you today and what would you say to people that don't seem to take many photos. ![]()
