Floor level in a downtown Chicago bus station. Everyone seemes like they might be giants here. Getting to and from there and back again. Frozen snapshots ambling through this life and others. Boredom mixed with anticipation.

Souls casually smoking in the Summer heat.
Soul feet, don't have faces, only owners
We wear them out and ask for more,
When a muscle is too fatigued and
pushed beyond its limit, it will rebel
Even in the throes of love making
Dreams ride flesh and collide with sweat
lodge prayers
When they call, obeying is not a matter
of conciousness
Children feel soo much; really they
are unfettered vessels of light
They absorb their surroundings completely
But like any being fatigue takes over
just like everyone else...
