Dreams of Freedom
Death it seems is the only Freedom
that you may have left to believe in As the distant sounds of clashing thunder Are the resonances of steel metal doors Clashing and echoing endlessly Against the cold hard truth of your own reality Bound body and soul and held captive By your own selfish pride in solitudes depths While deep down inside your soul, Remains hidden the smoldering ashes of hate As thoughts of freedom scream out in your head, But are held shackled by distant memories The numbing pain and loss continues to torcher you For that of which you now vaguely remember Disgraceful it is that you now plead and pray For something that you yourself had stolen from another As your empty pleas of mercy continue to go unheard For the same reason that which you yourself did not grant Even as the injustice of many others continue As they have their own burdens to carry unto death As the corrupt system that you so bravely Fought against, you now beg to for help You’re actions alone have brought you Down to this crossroad in Life Only the cold hard truth of reality Can quench these deep inner hot ashes of hate And set you free and release the chains That shackles these deep hidden memories Only then will the hearts, souls and memories Of many finally have their peace But the key to your own inner prison You alone now hold deep down inside And until such a time, the truth be told All your hopes and dreams will only be that of… Empty DREAMS of FREEDOM (To all involved the Cold Blooded Murder of Annie Mae Pictou Aquash) Bill Last edited by Ndn8tive; 01-04-2009 at 01:37 AM. you paint very well, I can feel the hate and the anger without vulgor words, the vulgarity of it is implied very well.
