Though some may believe they have found true love
Although a perfect fit, there are many gloves
As fate sometimes changes the path you strolled
Circumstances and change will take its toll
The thoughts and shadows from a broken past
Where hearts of angels to the side were cast
Broken Hearts shattered like a glass of pane
As tear drops flowed sweet drops of rain
Though time could heal these painful wounds
Shattered hearts don’t forget so soon
Why can’t our minds this pain erase
These visions so clear we still see their face
We live with our choices both good and bad
Where life seemed so perfect, now ends so sad
A shadow of our lives once so entwined
Our hearts and souls, love once had bind
Our hearts and minds, may believe it still
We will never admit what we truly feel
Behind our lives we still try to hide
Still these feelings of something lost deep from inside
If we truly believed these feeling were wrong
This emptiness should have long been gone
Though words to some whether or not may inspire
My hopes you all find your true hearts desires
