We live in a world that moves too fast
It makes me wonder how long we’ll last
Violence and anger everyday we hear
This world we live in there’s too much fear
The seeds of Hate have taken their toll
As the world we live in spins out of control
How quickly this life can change around
We’ve seen so many ups and downs
Like a rotten fruit from a broken vine
This world decay’s a healthy mind
I tried so hard to make things right
To see an end 2 an end or to see a light
Many times I have lied, many times I cried
Looking down at my wrist, once I even tried
This pain that always fills my head
Many times I just wished that I were dead
So what should I believe that this life is for
At times I really don’t care any more
I wish just once to have a better day
If I decide to live just one more day
To hold on a bit longer and not let go
And to just find a reason so I would know
With this pain so strong I’ll try to hold on
Because way deep inside I know I might be wrong

my god man that was heartwrenching to read. I was right there in the words letting them just assault my mind. what a dark place to be, and a show of bravery to walk on.
