If not wanting to drink back to back on my days off makes me an apple so be it If not acting like some stereotypical NdN makes me an apple so be it If not listening even remotely to the same music as other skins makes me an apple so be it If believeing in myself and having the utmost confidence makes me an apple so be it If I read many books and would like to discuss them with others makes me an apple so be it If having next to nothing in common with my fellow skins makes me an apple so be it If I don't like doing the same drugs as the stereotypical skin makes me an apple so be it If I'm not into sports whatsoever and don't know any pro athlete's name makes me an apple so be it If not wanting to drink or do drugs period makes me an apple so be it If not having any children at the age of 29 and not wanting any in the near future or perhaps ever makes me an apple so be it If having all white friends makes me an apple so be it If not wanting to stay on my reservation or home state for the rest of my life makes me an apple so be it If having very diverse taste in music makes me an apple so be it If not liking the taste of Bud Lite or Bud or Miller makes me an apple so be it If liking imports, micro-brews, and wine makes me an apple so be it If not eating the stereotypical NdN foods makes me an apple so be it If being able to cite the last ten books I've read makes me an apple so be it If loving to read makes me an apple so be it If having very concrete political views and giving a $hit about our people's socioeconomic future makes me an apple so be it If not engaging in any stereotypical NdN behavior at all makes me an apple so be it If seeing people destroy themselves around me and standing by silently witnessing it all makes me an apple so be it If wanting to become a buhddist makes me an apple so be it If not partying constantly makes me an apple so be it If wanting to wait till after college and or med school to have children makes me an apple so be it If not treating women like objects but treating them like precious intelligent human beings makes me an apple so be it If not dressing like the stereotypical NdN male makes me an apple so be it If not driving a piece of $hit rez car makes me an apple so be it If not having a bunch of $hit in my yard makes me an apple so be it If not being a lost one and still retaining my pride and identity as an Indigenous person makes me an apple then so be it Then yes I am an apple so f*ckin be it

Have to agree with trob. These people who prepetuate these sterotypes about their own just don't know what pride in ones self & culture is, probably why they're drinking & doing drugs, but there are plenty of us who don't feel that way.
On the children issue, got to say I tease my friends with one or two children about having more, never called them an apple though, that would be mean & inaccurate, of course my friends with 6 or 7 kids tease me that 4 isn't enough...lol, however...sounds like someone as intelligent, proud & sober and judging by your pic, as attractive ought to have kids...JUST TEASING!
