Wanted to share a poem I wrote a few weeks ago, it was my first in about 4 years so don't laugh......

I’ll be that

I’ll be that ally
To stand by your side
Even if the whole world walks away.

I’ll be that woman
To rub your back
When you’ve had a long hard day.

I’ll be that girl
Who’s on top of the world
Just because I’m in your arms.

I’ll be that love
To kiss away your all your tears,
Fears and frustrations if you feel down or lost.


I’ll be that friend
Who will always be real
And not just tell you what you want to hear.

I’ll be that partner
That will hold your hand,
As we lift each other up year after year.

I’ll be that lover
To keep you satisfied,
Yet always wanting more.

I’ll be that angel
That will give my whole heart
and all my love to you.

I’ll be that soulmate
When we find each other
Which I hope will happen soon.
