Pride

On the inside looking for the otherside
my mind flows just like the tide
with no one to guide me to where I'm going
so many elders have died
and I feel the energy flowing
in place of all my memories
falling like the leaves of a tree
I feel the warm wind blowing
slowly it seems to make me remember
who I am and where I came from
the structure I looked for when I was younger
rises like the sun.
