Bleeding Kansas
A long, dry, windy place;
Years gone by without a trace. The grass is tall, the wind is strong; The winter months are very long. The buffalo were so thick and dark; Till whites put bullets in theire hearts. Left them there without skin or tongue; So the natives could not feed their young. When the natives saw this gruesom sight; Their very hearts filled up with fright; For soon, they knew the whites would come; And in theire task they would succeed; To drive the natives from their land; So they could plow, and plant their seed Bleeding Kansas has seen it all; The long, thin, the short and tall. She cried when her people died; Only for the paleface pride. GvhnageWohali |
