That's so cool. I've always like haikus but have never written any.

Actually, I meant for people to post haiku, so by all means, write some! I find that it's a great form for painting mental pictures, like little snapshots.

There once was a fellow named Dave......

No...... it's my daughter and new son in law. They both have been though a lot of hardships and trials in their short lives and have survived and came out on top. Then the most recent thing was they went through a miscarriage of a very much wanted baby. So now when I hear then staying up all night chatting and laughing it does my heart good.
