Hurts are the links in an endless chain;
We may think we have hurt but one,
But that one little hurt is passed on and on,
before the long day is done.
It is human nature when you have been hurt, to hurt someone else in turn.
That somebody else hurts somebody else. Won't we ever learn?
In a vicious circle, around and 'round goes the fruit that our action bore.
Until the hurt is returned to us from someone we adore!
