I SAW AN EAGLE TODAY

I saw an Eagle today
He was so majestic and proud
I wanted to stop and admire him
But the traffic would not allow.

He followed me as I drove
The Eagle asked
“What do you want from me woman?”
I asked him to take my prayer to the Father,

Still following me the Eagle said,
“ I know your prayer and so does the Father.
But since you are on the path
I will take it to Him for you”

As this beautiful creature began to soar higher
He said, “Wait, your answer is coming.”
At that moment I was suddenly calm and at ease
I knew that all would be well.

The Father had given me my answer.
He said, “I am not finished with you woman,
Continue to follow the path you are on.
One day soon it will all become clear.”

I thanked the Eagle.
I asked the Father to bless this great being
I wished the Eagle good hunting.
I saw an Eagle today.
